Aruba Identifies Four Digitization Trends For 2022

Organizations have reached a turning point in this process that today holds both great opportunities and serious challenges.

Never before has technology been as essential as it is today, which is why companies are taking part in digitization and this is what has led Aruba to address 2022 as the “Year of Transformation”.

“We have reached an inflexion point in the process of digital transformation, where companies either lay a solid foundation for the next decade or when they look back one day, they will realize that their transformation process has been built on an authentic house of cards. And for that, the focus must be on understanding which technology is suitable, and which is not, in improving the processes of each client, and that is the technological support that Aruba offers,” explains Iker del Fresno, Aruba’s Country Manager for Spain.

This firmness is the result of numerous conversations between Aruba and its customers and team, who, in the latest market analysis, have consulted 200 international IT managers. In this context, Aruba recognizes four digital transformation trends that will be key to the growth of organizations this year.

  1. Digitization: Although the pace of digital transformation is accelerating, the journey is far from over. Many companies consider their level of transformation to be mature.
  2. An urgent shift towards simplicity and automation: Data is the most valuable thing in business and having a common data infrastructure is essential to stay out of trouble.
  3. The rebirth of the Network: By 2022, all those organizations that have not considered the network as an essential part of digital transformation up until now are expected to begin to do so. Without an infrastructure capable of supporting the complexity of their IT architecture, it will be impossible to withstand digital transformation.
  4. From operators to innovators: Business areas and IT will need to evolve in order for the organization to execute data delivery. IT managers were asked about their biggest concern regarding digitization and the most repeated response was: how do we attract talent to the business and how do we best deploy the talent the organization already has? Due to business demands to provide solutions that generate new revenue, IT experts know they need to transform their team of operators into innovators.
