Philips Launches SuperWide Monitor with 5 MP Webcam and Noise Cancellation

Features include 5120 x 1440 resolution, 178/178 degree viewing angles and 1500R curvature.

Philips announces the availability of the 45B1U6900CH monitor, whose “size and screen ratio, along with other features such as connectivity and noise-cancelling webcam” make it an “ideal choice for the most demanding users”.

This is how Xeni Bairaktari, Global Marketing Manager for IT monitors and accessories, describes it. Philips explains that instead of having two separate monitors, the 45B1U6900CH’s 44.5-inch screen and 32:9 SuperWide format allows for multiple windows and a wide perspective for video viewing.

This device features 5120 x 1440 resolution, 178/178 degree viewing angles and 1500R curvature for a more immersive experience.

Add to that VESA and TUV Rheinland Eyesafe RPF 50 certifications, a USB-C connection with RJ45 to set up power, enjoy videos or transfer data, and a 5MP webcam with Windows Hello support. Facial recognition sensors register users in a matter of seconds.

Valued at €1189, it also features an integrated KVM to control a two-PC setup on the same monitor and a headset hook.
