POWERBIM has achieved global prominence thanks to its technological approach and vision to transform the construction and asset management sector.

At the event, which brought together prominent entrepreneurs and leaders in the technology world, OVHcloud announced the winners of its prestigious annual OVHcloud Startup Program Showcase Contest, in partnership with Empact Ventures. Among the outstanding finalists, Spanish company POWERBIM has emerged as the undisputed winner of the Best Startup Award, a recognition of its tireless work, innovative technology and significant achievements.

The distinction awarded to POWERBIM highlights the exceptional nature of its proposal and its impact on the business landscape. The company, led by Fernando Morales Tosar, has been acclaimed for its commitment to excellence, innovation and vision to transform the construction and asset management sector towards sustainability and efficiency.

POWERBIM is distinguished by its focus on implementing a digital twin SaaS solution, aimed at the smart management of buildings, infrastructure and cities. Connecting digital BIM and GIS models with real-time data analytics, the company applies simulations, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence to improve key indicators of sustainability, energy efficiency, construction, operations and asset maintenance. This innovative approach, developed for over four years in Barcelona, has enabled POWERBIM to reach large corporate clients and lead the digital transformation in its sector.

The award, announced during an event in front of an international jury, includes €3,000 in cash and entry into the OVHcloud Startup Program, which offers €10,000 of free cloud credits, connections with investors and personalised coaching. In addition to POWERBIM, German company Catch was recognised as the best scaleup for its AI solution to transform HR recruitment processes.

OVHcloud, committed to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, has supported more than 4,000 startups and scaleups worldwide through its Startup Program since 2015. In Spain, more than 150 startups have benefited in the last three years, demonstrating the positive impact and relevance of the programme in the national entrepreneurial scene.
