This is Dimensity 7200, MediaTek’s Latest for Smartphones

Built with 4-nanometre process, it features two Arm Cortex-A715 CPU cores and six Cortex-A510 cores.

MediaTek is expanding its line of smartphone chipsets with the inaugural model in the Dimensity 7000 series: the Dimensity 7200.

Built on the same second-generation TSMC 4-nanometer process as the Dimensity 9200 processor, it features two Arm Cortex-A715 CPU cores running at up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores.

Features include Arm Mali G610 GPU, integrated artificial intelligence processing unit, MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 technology with variable rate shading for resource optimisation and longer battery life, memory frequency up to 6400 Mbps and UFS 3.1 and 5G Sub-6GHz 3GPP Release-16 modem with 4.7 Gbps downlink.

The chip supports tri-band WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and 2CC carrier aggregation and dual 5G SIM with dual VoNR.

In addition, it will be able to support 200MP sensors and 4K HDR video capture, as well as the use of two cameras with Full HD resolution.

MediaTek explains that it will be able to work with HDR display (HDR10+, CUVA HDR, and Dolby HDR), Full HD+, and 144 Hz. Also with Bluetooth LE Audio technology and Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio.
