VASS Buys Artificial Intelligence specialist Intelygenz

The VASS@400 strategic plan aims to reach a turnover of 400 million euros by 2025.

The Spanish company specialising in artificial intelligence (AI) Intelygenz has been acquired by Vass Group, becoming the eighth company acquired by the group since it launched its VASS@400 strategic plan.

This plan aims to reach a turnover of 400 million euros by 2025, with the objective of making Grupo VASS the Spanish leader in digital consultancy. The VASS@400 plan is backed by a Private Equity Company and OEP (One Equity Partners) and includes the previous acquisitions of Comunytek, CRI, Ecenta, One Inside, Movetia, Hexagon Data and Zington.

Founded in 2002, with offices in Spain and the United States and more than 170 professionals on staff, Intelygenz has developed AI projects for various companies in sectors such as banking, retail, energy and telecommunications on three continents.

In the absence of approval from market and competition regulators, the two companies confirm their interest in promoting innovation in their clients’ projects.
